Mark opens his gospel by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. It is that good news we see illustrated in the healing of a leper. Jesus is showing us he can make even the dirtiest sinner clean. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or where you’ve been, Jesus brings good news.
